## About the role

As Step enters its next phase of rapid growth, we're looking for a strategic, hands-on Head of People Operations to establish the frameworks, systems, and policies that enable our team to do their best work. From onboarding to employee engagement, you will drive initiatives that elevate Step's culture, performance, and long-term talent strategy. This role provides leadership for Talent Acquisition, ensuring we continue to attract exceptional talent as we grow.

## What they're looking for

- 6+ years of experience in People Operations, HR with leadership experience in a high-growth startup or fintech
- Demonstrated success building scalable People programs, HR infrastructure, and operational processes from the ground up
- Experience leading talent acquisition and developing recruiting strategies that attract exceptional talent
- Experience building and leading high-performing teams
- Exceptional process-building and execution skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making
- Capable of managing immediate priorities while anticipating future needs
