## About the role

We're looking for a Director, Strategic Sourcing & Procurement to stand up the Procurement function at Strava! You will be the person who designs all of it: the operating model, the commercial strategy, the systems—and then runs it. This is a unique opportunity for those passionate about creating systems and processes from scratch.

## What they're looking for

- 10+ years experience building a procurement or strategic sourcing function
- Substantial experience negotiating enterprise B2B SaaS and technology agreements, with a demonstrable record of Finance-validated commercial improvement
- People management experience, including hiring, developing, and retaining team members
- Fluency translating spend data into a commercial narrative for executive audiences
- Exposure to public company or pre-IPO purchasing controls, segregation of duties, and audit requirements
- Confidence using modern tools and systems (e.g., Zip, Ironclad, Slack, Notion, AI) to amplify impact
