## About the role

Stripe supports global commerce across 135+ currencies including digital assets.As a result, Stripe needs to build and maintain platform systems capable of pricing, estimating and hedging the resulting FX exposures. Grounded in an understanding of FX market conventions and dynamics, you will partner with Engineering, Data Science, Product, and Finance to maintain operational rigor today while shaping long-term pricing and hedging strategies.

## What they're looking for

- 5+ years in FX, market risk, trading, quantitative research, or treasury operations, with working knowledge of FX market structure and instruments
- Proficiency in Python and SQL to build analytics and tools, backed by a strong foundation in statistics, time series, and risk measurement
- Exceptional attention to detail and a proven ability to turn complex, imperfect datasets into clear insights
- Practical experience using AI tools to streamline analysis and automation, paired with a critical eye for model validation and verification
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to turn complex data into clear narratives and escalate issues concisely under time pressure
- Bachelor's degree
