## About the role

This is not a standard BDR job and we are not looking for a standard BDR.

## What they're looking for

- Have roughly 1 to 3 years in private equity deal sourcing or business development, investment banking, growth equity, venture capital, transaction services, or selling into the sponsor community
- Understand fund structures, hold periods, value creation plans, and sponsor-to-portco dynamics well enough to hold a five-minute conversation with an operating partner without bluffing
- Can read a portfolio page and form a fast, defensible view on which three companies have the problem we solve, and say why
- Write well. Short, specific, no padding. Your cold email sounds like a person who did the work, not a sequence
- Are genuinely comfortable with rejection at volume. You have done work where most of the answers were no, and you kept going
- Are AI-native. You already use AI to compress research and would rather build the workflow than repeat the task
