## About the role

We're looking for a Privacy Engineering Lead to build Suno's privacy and AI governance function from scratch. You'll set the technical direction for how we handle data and permissions across our platform, models, and agents — building the infrastructure that enforces policy at the point of use and verifies outcomes like retention and deletion. You'll partner closely with Legal and Product while hiring and growing your own engineering team to scale this work across the company.

## What they're looking for

- 8-10 years hands-on software engineering experience, with the technical depth to help build and ship enforcement infrastructure yourself, not only define policy for others to implement
- Deep experience in privacy engineering or data governance, including working familiarity with regulatory frameworks like GDPR and CCPA
- Experience as an engineering manager who has maintained real technical depth, or as a Staff+ engineer ready to grow into people management
