## About the role

We are seeking an experimental physicist with strong laboratory experience in atomic, optical, or quantum systems. You will play a key role in building and operating cutting-edge experimental platforms for qubit control, measurement, and scaling. The ideal candidate enjoys hands-on work, creative problem-solving, and collaborating across disciplines to make new quantum technologies a reality. Design, construct, and characterize precision optical and/or cryogenic systems for quantum experiments.

## What they're looking for

- Ph.D. in Physics, Applied Physics, Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Hands-on experience working with advanced laboratory instrumentation and quantum systems including AMO physics, solid-state and/or superconducting systems
- Familiarity with qubit control, spectroscopy, or precision measurement techniques
- Strong background in experimental design, data analysis, and scientific problem solving
- Experience with Python or similar tools for experiment automation
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
