## About the role

Define and drive the end-to-end fault-tolerant architecture for novel hardware spanning multiple qubit modalities, from QEC theory down to hardware-level implementation Make and defend high-stakes architectural trade-offs across QEC codes and fault-tolerant logic under real device constraints and noise

## What they're looking for

- A PhD in physics, applied physics, computer science, electrical engineering, or an equivalent degree in a similar field
- 8+ years of experience in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architecture, including senior or lead roles
- A strong publication record in quantum error correction, fault tolerance, or related fields
- Demonstrated experience implementing and validating QEC or fault-tolerant protocols on real quantum hardware
- Hands-on experience taking quantum technology from theory through deployment, ideally in an industry setting
- Strong programming skills in a scientific computing environment
