## About the role

We're seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Post-Booking team, someone who doesn't just build, but raises the quality bar across our entire ecosystem. You'll be instrumental in shaping the consumer experience following the initial booking process. Your work will focus on building new features to improve the customer experience through high-performance Node.js services and AI-driven enhancements, as well as critical replatforming work to modernize our microservice infrastructure.

## What they're looking for

- 5 years professional software engineering including a mix of frontend and backend experience, with demonstrated impact (leading complex domains, influencing multiple teams)
- Extensive professional experience with Node.js and microservice architecture, familiarity with Ruby on Rails is a plus
- Strong SQL and data modeling for financial use cases (Postgres, Snowflake)
- Hands-on experience with async/event-driven systems (Kafka) and microservice architecture
- Proven track record designing and owning observability/alerting for critical systems
- Mastery in building, debugging, and scaling distributed systems
