## About the role

Build and manage the full M&A pipeline: identify targets, develop the strategic rationale, lead diligence, structure and negotiate terms, and drive deals through close and integration handoff. Design and launch Temporal's ecosystem investment program — thesis, mandate, check sizes, sourcing pipeline, and governance — to invest in companies building on top of the platform.

## What they're looking for

- 10+ years of experience in corporate development, venture capital/growth investing, investment banking, or private equity, ideally with exposure to both M&A and minority investing
- A track record of sourcing, structuring, and closing deals independently, from first conversation to signed agreement
- Strong financial modeling, valuation, and diligence skills, paired with sound commercial judgment
- Experience partnering with Product and Engineering teams to translate technical and platform strategy into deal criteria
- Familiarity with developer tools, infrastructure, or platform ecosystems, direct knowledge of Temporal or workflow orchestration is a strong plus
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trust with founders, investors, and internal executives alike
