## About the role

Today, when you go to your doctor and get referred to a specialist, your doctor sends out a referral and tells you, “They’ll be in touch soon.” So you wait. And wait. Sometimes days, weeks, or even months. Why? Because too often providers are overwhelmed with the painstakingly tedious work required to get paid by insurance companies.

## What they're looking for

- 3–5 years of experience in data engineering, with a strong track record of building and maintaining scalable data pipelines and infrastructure
- Proven expertise with Snowflake and modern cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP), hands-on experience with data pipeline tools and orchestration frameworks
- Strong understanding of healthcare data—claims, EHR systems, and data integration patterns—or demonstrated ability to quickly learn complex domain-specific systems
- Healthcare-data security awareness and familiarity with best practices (e.g., HIPAA considerations, data governance, compliance) is a strong plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and comfort with complex, ambiguous integration challenges—not just standard connector configuration
- Outstanding communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical and healthcare concepts to a diverse audience
