## About the role

TerraFirma is looking for an Accounting Manager to build and operate the accounting foundation of a rapidly growing construction and technology company. You will own the day-to-day accounting function, including the monthly close, financial reporting, billing, collections, and vendor payments. You will also help establish the systems and processes needed to support complex construction projects, government contracts, international operations, and continued growth.

## What they're looking for

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- Experience managing the monthly close and preparing financial statements
- Strong understanding of accrual accounting, reconciliations, journal entries, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working directly in the underlying data
- CPA or public accounting experience
- Experience in construction, project-based accounting, government contracting, or another operationally complex business
