## About the role

The Engineering Manager, Property Management will lead the team that owns the core platform capabilities powering property management workflows across TheGuarantors including core property and address data models, property-level integrations and data sync, and the services and APIs that downstream product teams rely on for leasing, renewals, and operational tooling.

## What they're looking for

- 5+ years of software engineering experience, including experience leading a team as a Tech Lead, Tech Lead Manager, or Engineering Manager. A strong prior track record as a senior/staff-level backend engineer
- Strong technical judgment, with hands-on experience in fullstack development (Go, React, TypeScript, PostgreSQL preferred)
- Strong database fluency: schema design, query performance, scaling strategies, and operational characteristics of relational and/or NoSQL systems
- Experience owning data models, APIs, or platform primitives that other teams depend on as a source of truth
- Experience with event-driven systems and data pipelines (Kafka/Redpanda) and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Kubernetes)
- A track record of building high-performing teams that deliver reliable, business-critical systems
