## About the role

Learning from and contributing to the design and development of TimescaleDB Enterprise, our on-prem deployment and management platform.

## What they're looking for

- Foundational software engineering experience (roughly 1-3 years, including internships or substantial projects), ideally with exposure to backend services, developer platforms, or infrastructure tools
- Working knowledge of Go or TypeScript, or a track record of picking up new languages quickly
- Comfort with Linux fundamentals: the shell, SSH, services, containers, and basic networking
- An interest in working across multiple layers of a system, from backend services to user-facing tooling
- Familiarity and growing proficiency with AI coding tools
- Basic knowledge of PostgreSQL, distributed systems, or deployment automation is a strong plus
