As a member of the Android Systems team, you will bridge the gap between hardware and software to build the foundational platform for Toast POS devices. Whether it’s an international team looking to deploy a new on-device application, a customer needing a critical firmware update, an Enterprise group needing multi-location device tooling - our systems empower customers to set up, secure, and manage their devices from wherever they are. ## What they're looking for

- 6+ years of Android application development experience
- Proficient in a modern object-oriented programming language such as Kotlin or Java
- Deep experience with standard Android architecture patterns & libraries such as Hilt, AndroidX libraries, and Kotlin Coroutines
- Solid understanding of Android application and service lifecycles, background work, and inter-process communication
- Experience leading a cross-functional project with multiple engineers, product, QA, & design teams on a project from initial ideation through launch and supporting it in production
