## About the role

You’re a hands-on operations generalist collaborating with the founding team. At Tokaido, operations is a horizontal function — a common backbone underneath specialized verticals like product, revenue, people, etc. In this role, you'll tackle whatever the business needs most, claim ownership across multiple domains, and design scalable processes and products from 0 to 1. You won't touch all of it on day one, but this is the world you'll be living in.

## What they're looking for

- Business Operations: Work alongside the leadership team to handle and mature ongoing corporate and organizational activities (banking, reports filing, vendor management, etc.)
- Compliance: Own and drive our security and compliance initiatives, working cross-functionally to keep processes and controls audit-ready
- People: Build and manage people initiatives including but not limited to: benefits administration, streamlined onboarding, and compliance/training programs
- Customer Success: Take our customer deployments from 0 to 1, build playbooks, and manage a smooth onboarding and go-live process. Tight ship, organized and prompt
- Adaptable - be ready to jump into any project as the team needs, and deliver quickly based on prioritization
- Creative – think outside the box when designing scalable solutions in today’s age of AI, and be conscious of how best to build durable processes
