## About the role

We're looking for a Senior Product Engineer who is a builder and an operator, someone who takes a problem from an ops thread or a customer complaint all the way to production, using AI agents as a core part of how they work rather than an occasional assist. This isn't a siloed frontend or backend role: you'll work across our backend services, frontend, and infrastructure, with strong technical fundamentals across modern backend and frontend systems.

## What they're looking for

- 4+ years of professional software development. We weigh what you've shipped and operated over years or titles
- Strong product instincts: you think holistically about UX, API design, and system correctness, and you shape what gets built rather than just executing a spec handed to you
- Systems thinking across REST APIs, microservices, event-driven systems, and databases (SQL/NoSQL), with patterns for scaling backend systems
- An intuition for financial systems, or a strong desire to build one
- Fluency with AI coding tools in real production work. You use them to move faster while still holding the line on correctness, reliability, and maintainability, and you have an opinion about where they help, where they mislead, and how to keep them honest
- A strong sense of ownership and comfort with ambiguity. You lead complex projects end-to-end, thrive working independently in a fast-paced environment, and see things through from idea to launch
