## About the role

Join our team as a Senior Software Engineer , building the trading systems at the core of our platform. We have recently been migrating critical trading workflows onto Aeron-based sequenced-log architecture and this role sits at the heart of that platform: you will join one of the teams running services on top of it, matched to the team that best fits your strengths and interests during the interview process.

## What they're looking for

- Industry Experience: 7+ years of experience in software engineering, preferably in capital markets or trading workflows
- Programming Skills: Proficiency in JVM-based languages (Scala preferred), ability to write clean and maintainable code
- Distributed Systems: Experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable systems
- Network Protocols & Messaging: Familiarity with technologies such as TCP/IP, FIX, Kafka, or Aeron
- Cloud Technologies: Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker
- AI-Assisted Development: Ability to effectively use AI-assisted development tools (e.g. Claude Code) to accelerate delivery and improve quality while maintaining strong engineering judgment
