## About the role

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join the Controllers organisation and own general ledger accounting and financial reporting for one or more Trustly entities in the Americas region. This is a hands-on GL and financial reporting role: the successful candidate will be a strong technical accountant with deep US GAAP expertise, comfortable owning the close process end to end and partnering with auditors, tax, and cross-functional finance teams.

## What they're looking for

- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally with public accounting experience (Big 4 or national accounting firm)
- Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP, experience with IFRS is a plus given Trustly's global reporting requirements
- Public accounting experience (e.g., at a Big 4 or national accounting firm) is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, CPA or equivalent professional qualification preferred
- Experience managing or supporting external audits
- Proficiency in accounting software (NetSuite experience preferred) and strong Excel skills
