## About the role

For this role, the target base salary range in San Francisco is $128,000- $160,000 annually. This role is also eligible for equity and benefits. In general, our ranges reflect the market-based target for new hire salaries based on the level and location of the role. Within the range, individual pay is determined by objective factors assessed during the application and interview process, such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

## What they're looking for

- Support end-to-end deployment of tax technology tools, partnering with Engineering, Product, and Finance stakeholders to execute implementations and manage ongoing maintenance
- Participate in the evaluation and selection of tax technology solutions across indirect tax, compliance, and reporting functions
- Support Turo's digital tax transformation roadmap, helping ensure tax systems scale with business growth and international expansion
- Lead the migration of OneSource to Turo's AWS platform in partnership with engineering
- Identify and help implement opportunities to apply AI and automation to tax and finance processes — including tax research, data classification, audit response preparation, and anomaly detection
- Explore emerging AI-powered tools and bring forward practical recommendations for how Turo can leverage them to improve accuracy, reduce manual effort, and increase speed
