## About the role

In this role, you will be the visionary leader of Twilio’s global revenue and CoGS accounting operations and play a critical role in shaping a global revenue recognition framework that is as agile as it is accurate, ensuring our financial reporting scales seamlessly with our product innovation.

## What they're looking for

- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related field
- 12+ years of progressive experience in accounting, including 6+ years with a revenue accounting focus, with a significant portion in a large, fast-paced public company environment
- 8+ years of experience leading and developing high-performing, management-level teams, with a proven ability to build, nurture, and influence an effective team culture
- Expert-level understanding of ASC 606, deferred revenue accounting, and complex CoGS structures (including gross margin mechanics) in a SaaS or Usage-based environment
- Deep experience with enterprise-grade ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and specialized revenue subledgers (e.g., Zuora Revenue, RMCS)
- Proven ability to influence C-suite and VP-level stakeholders, translating complex accounting transactions into clear strategic narratives
