## About the role

Join us as we reinvent the standard of care in metabolic health. We are seeking a Lead Software Engineer to join our Copilot team and play a key role in shaping the technical direction and execution of our new AI-powered platform. This platform is designed to optimize and enhance the efficiency of our clinical operations teams.

## What they're looking for

- 6+ years of professional software engineering experience, including recent hands-on backend or full-stack product development
- Demonstrated experience leading a significant project or team through end-to-end delivery, including planning work, delegating ownership, coordinating dependencies, and making technical and delivery decisions
- Demonstrated experience partnering with Product Managers and business stakeholders to shape priorities, make tradeoffs, and own measurable customer or business outcomes
- Experience personally owning and delivering customer-facing products from discovery or definition through launch, measurement, iteration, and production support
- Full-stack technical leadership experience, with strong hands-on Python backend expertise and experience building microservices using FastAPI
- Experience personally designing complex, event-driven systems and distributed architectures, including making documented scalability, reliability, and operational tradeoffs
