## About the role

Valence is looking for a Product Designer to join our small, high-velocity product-design-engineering team. You'll work across the full product — from AI coaching flows to team collaboration features — shipping polished, thoughtful experiences on a weekly cadence. This isn't a role where design is handed requirements and asked to execute. You'll be embedded with product and engineering, contributing to how we think about problems, not just how we solve them visually.

## What they're looking for

- 3–5 years of product design experience with a portfolio that demonstrates strong craft and end-to-end thinking
- Experience shipping product on a small team — you're comfortable owning a feature without heavy process or specialized support
- Solid grounding in interaction design, visual design, and information architecture
- Familiarity working with and contributing to a design system
- Comfortable working in fast cycles — you can make decisions with incomplete information and iterate based on what you learn
- Proficiency in Figma
