## About the role

Are you a proven leader in medical events, meetings, and congress execution ready to elevate HCP engagements across the life sciences industry? As the Director for Strategic Meetings and Congresses, you will build, mentor, and lead an elite event planning team responsible for executing high-impact, home-office organized events; including Advisory Boards, Consultant Engagements, Investigator Meetings, Speaker Training, and Major Congresses.

## What they're looking for

- 8+ years of progressive operational leadership experience within pharmaceutical/biotech companies or top-tier healthcare marketing/event agencies managing complex HCP events and major congresses
- 3+ years of direct experience recruiting, developing, and leading high-performing event planning teams
- Commercial & Strategic Savvy: Proven success collaborating with Strategy, Sales, and Customer Account leadership to drive account growth, customer retention, and SLA excellence
- Operations Architect: Demonstrated ability to build SOPs, design scalable operational workflows, manage vendors, and handle financial oversight
- High-Stakes Problem Solver: Outstanding conflict resolution, project management, and critical-thinking skills in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
- Tech-Savvy Operational Lead: Hands-on experience with enterprise event technologies (e.g., Vault Events Management, Cvent, virtual event platforms) and advanced mastery of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
