## About the role

Velo3D designs and manufactures metal additive manufacturing systems and provides rapid production services to customers in aerospace, defense, space, energy, and medical markets. Operating as a contract manufacturer brings Velo3D within a set of industry accreditation, certification, and customer-mandated quality requirements that must be actively maintained, evidenced, and audited.

## What they're looking for

- Bachelor's degree in engineering, materials science, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience
- Five or more years in quality assurance, quality engineering, or product compliance in aerospace, defense, or regulated manufacturing, including direct responsibility for a certification or accreditation program
- Working knowledge of AS9100, including hosting registrar audits and managing nonconformance responses
- Demonstrated experience preparing for and hosting customer and third-party audits
- Demonstrated experience owning compliance documentation, records, and corrective action systems
- Ability to work credibly with an engineering and operations population while reporting outside that organization
