## About the role

Provide leadership across General Ledger accounting, financial reporting, and technical accounting, driving accurate and scalable accounting operations and helping shape priorities across the broader Accounting organization. Lead the annual financial statement audit and quarterly review processes, coordinating across the Accounting organization and managing the relationship with external auditors.

## What they're looking for

- CPA required, with 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, public accounting experience strongly preferred
- Strong technical accounting foundation with deep experience across General Ledger accounting, financial reporting, and US GAAP, including experience navigating complex accounting matters
- Demonstrated experience leading complex monthly, quarterly, and annual close and reporting processes within a high-growth, public company, or public-company-ready environment
- Proven people leader with experience developing high-performing accounting teams, setting clear expectations, and creating accountability and ownership across the organization
- Strong business judgment and demonstrated ability to independently identify, evaluate, and drive complex accounting and operational matters to resolution
- Demonstrated success improving accounting operations through technology, automation, process redesign, and scalable internal controls
