## About the role

We are seeking a highly experienced and hands-on Assistant Controller to help lead our accounting operations, strengthen our control environment, and scale processes to support a rapidly growing financial services business. This role will oversee core accounting functions, drive operational excellence, and partner cross-functionally to enable strategic decision-making.

## What they're looking for

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA or equivalent required
- 7–10 years of progressive experience in accounting/finance, including 3+ years in loan accounting
- 3+ years of managerial experience leading accounting teams
- Proficiency in ERP systems and implementations, plus experience with AI-driven process tools
- Comfortable shifting between leadership and hands-on execution, with a strong attention to detail and bias toward solving problems
