## About the role

Build and lead the Production Site Reliability Engineering team: hire, mentor, and grow a team of SREs and database engineers responsible for the production control plane Own the availability, performance, and operability of the production web stack

## What they're looking for

- Experience with configuration management at scale (Puppet, Ansible, Chef, or similar) and a strong opinion on what belongs in config management vs. what should be code
- Strong written and verbal communication: runbooks, postmortems, incident communications to leadership, and cross-functional coordination with engineering and datacenter operations teams
