## About the role

Lead and grow a high-performing team of storage engineers and operators across multiple regions Own the technical delivery for Vultr's block, object, and file storage products across all performance tiers

## What they're looking for

- 7+ years of experience in storage engineering, with 3+ years in engineering management
- Deep expertise with Ceph and distributed storage architectures in production environments
- Experience building and operating multi-tenant cloud storage services at scale
- Strong understanding of block, object, and file storage protocols and performance characteristics
- Experience with third-party enterprise storage platforms (DDN, VAST, Weka, NetApp) is a strong plus
- Knowledge of high-performance storage optimization techniques for AI and HPC workloads is a plus
