## About the role

The US yearly salary range for this role is: $120,000 - $190,000 in addition to competitive perks & benefits. Waabi’s yearly salary ranges are determined based on several factors in accordance with the Company’s compensation practices. The salary base range is reflective of the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Note: The Company provides additional compensation for employees in this role, including equity incentive awards and an annual performance bonus.

## What they're looking for

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 5+ years of accounting experience (public accounting and/or industry)
- Strong experience in general accounting, consolidation, and financial reporting
- Deep understanding of US GAAP and the ability to draft technical accounting memos that stand up to audit scrutiny
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrated ability to leverage AI-powered tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) to automate repetitive tasks, improve workflows, and increase productivity while maintaining accuracy and quality
