## About the role

As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for turning our custom electronics from a design file into road-ready hardware. You'll partner with our contract manufacturers to get boards built and then work with technicians to validate, program and assemble them, ready to be installed on our autonomous vehicles. You will also be responsible for ensuring the quality of our designs by designing test fixtures and working on Verification and Validation efforts.

## What they're looking for

- The Credentials: BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or a related field. You’ve likely spent 10+ years in hardware development and/or test engineering, with at least 2-3 years in a formal leadership role
- CM Fluency: You speak the language of CMs. You understand how to partner with them to deliver a high quality product
- The "Maker" Mindset: You aren't afraid to get your hands dirty in the lab, but you have the strategic vision to step back and manage the high-level roadmap
- Process Improver: You are always looking for ways to improve our designs, our processes, and the ways we work
