## About the role

WEBTOON seeks an experienced tax leader to oversee global tax reporting, compliance, planning, and strategy. This role will manage ASC 740 tax provision and reporting, tax compliance, international tax matters, transfer pricing / cross-border taxation, and tax planning for new business initiatives, while partnering closely with accounting, legal, and external advisors. We're looking for International Tax professional to help lead our worldwide tax function.

## What they're looking for

- CPA, JD, or advanced tax degree (e.g., MST – Master of Science in Taxation) preferred
- 10+ years of progressive tax experience, including in-house and/or public accounting
- Deep expertise in ASC 740, US and Canada tax compliance, international tax, and transfer pricing
- Proven track record advising on tax implications of new business initiatives
- Strong knowledge of withholding tax rules and cross-border transactions
- Experience managing external advisors and cross-functional collaboration with accounting and legal teams
