## About the role

As a Platform Engineer, you will help build, operate, and improve the cloud platforms and infrastructure that support Wayve's software development and release systems. Working as part of a team, you’ll focus on maintaining reliable, scalable, and secure cloud environments, while improving the systems that enable efficient software development, testing, and deployment. This is a hands-on role with opportunities to deepen your expertise in cloud infrastructure, automation, and platform engineering.

## What they're looking for

- Build, maintain, and improve cloud infrastructure (primarily Azure) to support development, testing, and production environments
- Contribute to Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) implementations (e.g. Terraform, Ansible) to ensure consistent and repeatable infrastructure provisioning
- Support and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment systems running in cloud environments
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimise cloud systems for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency
- Assist in managing containerised workloads and orchestration platforms (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)
- Implement and maintain observability tools (logging, metrics, alerting) to ensure system health and rapid incident response
