## About the role

The Equipment Engineer is responsible for supporting and optimizing the substrate manufacturing equipment and Automation implementation/Integration. This role combines hands-on Equipment ownership and operational excellence with applied engineering analysis, ensuring consistent equipment stability, product quality, yield improvement, and Capacity Improvement and OEE. The engineer will also contribute to data-driven research and improvement initiatives to advance equipment capability.

## What they're looking for

- Bachelor's Degree in Mechatronics Engineering / Electrical & Electronics Engineering. Candidates from Computer Science with exposure and interest in Hardware and encouraged to apply
- Proficiency in SolidWorks , or equivalent engineering software will be added advantage
- Programming skills: C++ , Python, SQL, PLC will be added advantage
- Knowledge in Communication Protocol, Hardware Software Interface, Analog/Digital signal processing will be added advantage
- Experience in technical report writing , field data collection, equipment condition assessment and Digital Twin
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in operational environments
