## About the role

The Field Supply Chain Specialist is responsible for third-party supplier management across the automotive supply chain to ensure the logistical needs of the project are met. This role will be primarily focused on managing the repair and maintenance process for vehicles, ensuring efficiency and timely service. Key responsibilities include fleet management, vendor management, and process improvement. Occasional travel may be required (Less than 15% annually) and will be planned as needed to address critical issues.

- Oversee national supply chain management related to vehicle procurement, repair, maintenance, and service providers
- Work closely with third-party suppliers (OEM, equipment suppliers, transport vendors, repair vendors, etc.) to ensure efficient vehicle repair and maintenance processes
- Manage reporting and status updates from third parties to provide updates to leadership and clients
- Analyze vehicle repair and maintenance throughput for both OEM and third-party suppliers, identifying trends and areas for improvement
- Identify potential process/production bottlenecks and proactively implement solutions
- Meet with third-party supplier management teams to discuss performance and address areas of opportunity, with travel occurring only when necessary
