## About the role

Lead, build, and develop the Electrical Engineering team responsible for NPI and Continuous Improvement across a WHOOP product line, establishing clear ownership, priorities, and accountability. Own EE execution across the full product lifecycle, from early concept and requirements definition through design, validation, manufacturing ramp, sustaining, and continuous improvement.

## What they're looking for

- 10+ years of electrical engineering experience developing complex hardware products, with 4+ years experience leading engineers or technical teams
- Deep knowledge of electrical engineering fundamentals, including circuit design, PCBAs, power architecture, component selection, design validation, and failure analysis
- Experience bringing high-volume hardware products through NPI, manufacturing ramp, and sustaining engineering
- Strong cross-functional leadership skills and experience partnering with engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and external manufacturing partners
- Proven ability to develop engineers, establish clear technical direction, and create effective engineering processes in fast-moving environments
- Preferred: experience with consumer electronics, wearables, or similarly integrated and space-constrained hardware products
