## About the role

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Founding Engineer at Wrangle, based in the San Francisco Bay Area. The responsibilities are on building critical architecture for search functionality and cross-functional collaboration, expanding on existing architecture and working with large-scale data pipelines. You'll be working with the team to build the most accurate search infrastructure over large sets of unstructured data, integrate with customer-facing data sources, and more.

## What they're looking for

- Strong portfolio of side projects, passion driven exploration and proven work
- Strong design sense and level of craft exhibited in work
- Experience with large data and complex systems architecture is a nice to have
- Full-stack experience with React, Node, SQL, Tailwind, and adjacent languages
- Experience with ranking/search algorithms and AI agents are a plus
- Ability to work hybrid and be in the office (Menlo Park or SF) multiple days a week
