## About the role

General Ledger Ownership: Maintain and oversee the general ledger for US entities, including posting and reviewing journal entries, ensuring accurate transaction classification, and managing intercompany entries across Zafran's global structure. Accruals & Month-End Close: Own the US close process end-to-end - managing accruals, prepaid expenses, and deferred revenue, ensuring all transactions are recorded, reconciled, and documented on time. Drive continuous improvements in close efficiency as we scale.

## What they're looking for

- 5+ years of accounting experience with strong command of US GAAP and US tax compliance (federal, state, and local)
- Hands-on experience with NetSuite, Salesforce, and Mesh (or a comparable expense/card management platform)
- Proven ownership of month-end close including accruals, prepaid schedules, and reconciliations - not just supporting, but leading
- Background in SaaS accounting, including familiarity with revenue recognition, deferred revenue, and subscription-based business models
- Startup experience is a must - you're comfortable building from zero, working without a playbook, and wearing multiple hats
- Demonstrated ability to use AI tools to streamline workflows and scale operations
