## About the role

You'll join zerohash's growing QA function, working alongside engineers and SDETs. As a QA Engineer, you'll own test planning, functional and exploratory testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) across zerohash's product stack. This is an opportunity to shape testing practices and quality standards as the team scales, with visibility into every product area and a direct line to release quality.

## What they're looking for

- 5+ years of QA or test engineering experience, ideally in fintech, payments, or another regulated, API-driven environment
- Strong grasp of QA process across all phases of the SDLC: test planning, test data setup, execution, defect management, and release sign-off
- Strong test case design and exploratory testing instincts, comfortable reading API specs and testing REST/JSON APIs directly (e.g., Postman, cURL)
- Experience with BDD-style test scenario writing (Gherkin/Cucumber or similar)
- Comfortable writing and maintaining automated tests (e.g., Playwright, Selenium) for occasional ad hoc work and automation tech debt
- Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language used for test automation (e.g., JavaScript/TypeScript or Python)
