## About the role

The Counsel, Contracts provides practical, business-focused legal support to Zillow Group, advising on a range of matters such as contracts and regulatory compliance for assigned products or programs. Operating with moderate autonomy, this role interprets applicable laws and rules, helps design compliant solutions with cross-functional partners, and escalates higher-risk or novel issues to senior attorneys as appropriate.

## What they're looking for

- • Juris Doctor from an accredited law school with active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction, in good standing
- • 4–6 years of experience practicing law, with in-house or law firm experience supporting technology, media, financial services, or real estate–related clients preferred
- • Demonstrated experience advising on regulatory, commercial, or product counseling matters, including interpreting and applying applicable laws, rules, or industry standards to business activities
- • Proven ability to manage a moderate portfolio of matters or workstreams with limited supervision, including prioritizing issues, meeting deadlines, and collaborating effectively with cross-functional partners
- • Or an equivalent combination of education and experience
