## What they're looking for

- Bachelor's degree in Safety Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, Industrial Hygiene, or a closely related technical discipline
- 15+ years of progressive EH&S experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role (Director or above) at a defense, aerospace, or energetics manufacturing organization
- Demonstrated expertise in DoD explosive safety programs, including working knowledge of DoD 4145.26, requirements
- Hands-on experience managing explosive safety programs for live ordnance, rocket motors, propellants, initiators, or energetic material manufacturing operations
- Knowledge of hydrazine (N2H4), monomethylhydrazine (MMH), unsymmetrical dimethylhydrazine (UDMH), and/or other hypergolic propellant safety and environmental compliance requirements
- Experience managing environmental compliance programs under RCRA, CERCLA, Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, and state equivalents in an industrial manufacturing setting
