## About the role

Zone & Co is seeking an accomplished Director of Engineering to lead and scale our engineering teams across the Americas, overseeing our Platform Services and AI, Quote-to-Cash and ZoneProcure teams while collaborating with engineering and product counterparts in EMEA and APAC to deliver innovative solutions for our global clients.

## What they're looking for

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- 10+ years of progressive experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles, including leading remote-first teams across multiple time zones
- Proven experience with Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, building AI/ML pipelines, agentic workflows, LLM/agent frameworks (e.g., LangGraph, AutoGen, DSPy), and AWS services including Bedrock, ECS, Lambda, and DynamoDB
- Familiarity with modern software development practices including agentic SDLC, CI/CD, DevOps, DevEx
- Strong understanding of APIs (REST/SOAP), data modeling, and systems integration
- Experience leading teams in the Americas and collaborating effectively across global regions including EMEA and APAC
