## About the role

As Manager, Sensor Integration/Cleaning HW, you will lead a team responsible for ensuring Zoox vehicles can operate safely and reliably in real-world environments. You will manage a multidisciplinary team of engineers designing, integrating, validating, and launching sensor assemblies and sensor cleaning systems that maintain the performance of our autonomy sensors across a wide range of environmental conditions.

## What they're looking for

- 8+ years of engineering experience in mechanical, electrical, or systems engineering, with prior experience in sensor systems, sensor cleaning, exteriors or closures
- 3+ years of experience directly managing engineers, including hiring, mentoring, and performance management
- Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional hardware programs from concept through production, including specification authoring, supplier selection, DFMEA, DV/PV testing, and manufacturing readiness
- Strong technical fluency across mechanical design (CAD, tolerance stack-up, fluid/pneumatic systems) and electrical integration (sensor interfaces, wiring/harness design, controls)
- Experience managing program scope, budget, and schedule across multiple concurrent workstreams
- Excellent cross-functional communication skills, with experience presenting technical tradeoffs and program status to engineering leadership
