Own CI performance, cost efficiency, and reliability end-to-end, at thousands of builds a day and growing Rethink CI failure analysis, triage, developer support, and incident response with modern AI tools, shifting first-line work off human on-call

## What they're looking for

- 5+ years of software engineering and programming experience, including significant experience in platform, infrastructure, or developer tooling
- Hands-on experience operating a distributed CI system at scale, Buildkite preferred, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar
- Working familiarity with a modern build system such as Bazel, and with how caching and remote execution interact with CI
- Solid knowledge of version control systems such as Git
- Self-driven and motivated with a strong work ethic and passion for problem solving
- Cloud compute cost analysis and fleet economics (AWS EC2 instance families, spot, right-sizing)
