## About the role

We are looking to hire a Head of Legal to be our legal team. You'll own the commercial agreements that power our partnerships, keep the company ahead of a complex and evolving regulatory landscape, and serve as a trusted advisor to product and leadership teams alike. You'll also support our board and handle the full spectrum of day-to-day legal work — from employment questions to managing outside counsel on litigation — as a true partner to the business.

## What they're looking for

- Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements, including partnership deals, vendor contracts, SaaS arrangements, and licensing agreements
- Serve as the day-to-day legal partner to the product and engineering teams, advise on feature development, consumer-facing policies, IP considerations, and platform risk before issues arise
- Advise on employment matters in partnership with the People team, manage and coordinate outside counsel on litigation and disputes, develop and maintain legal playbooks, templates, and intake processes
- JD from an accredited law school and active membership in good standing with at least one state bar
- 5+ years of legal experience—law firm, in-house, or a combination of both
- Meaningful commercial contracts experience: you've negotiated complex agreements and can move fast without sacrificing quality
