About the role
As a Senior Vehicle Operations & Integration Engineer, you will serve as a key technical contributor supporting 42dot's vehicle fleet, vehicle laboratory, and autonomous vehicle development efforts. Reporting to the Manager of Fleet Operations, you will be responsible for the hands-on integration, validation, maintenance, and operational readiness of development vehicles used for software-defined vehicle, autonomous driving, AI, and data collection programs.
What they're looking for
- Support validation of infotainment systems, connectivity features, embedded software, and vehicle network communications
- Perform functional testing across CAN, Ethernet, wireless, and vehicle diagnostic interfaces
- Execute test plans and regression testing for hardware and software releases
- Document issues and work closely with engineering teams to support root-cause analysis and corrective actions
- Verify vehicle functionality following software updates, hardware changes, or prototype modifications
- Maintain vehicle readiness through inspections, diagnostics, maintenance coordination, and operational checks
