About the role
Security operations centers are stuck doing work that shouldn't need a human at all, and most AI added to the SOC so far hasn't closed that gap. As Principal Security Engineer, you'll decide where AI can reliably take over detection, investigation, and response, and where it still needs a human in the loop. You'll shape platform strategy across cloud and enterprise environments, then work directly with customers as they rebuild their security operations around it.
What they're looking for
- 15+ years of experience in cybersecurity, including significant time in SOC, Blue Team, Detection Engineering, Threat Hunting, or Incident Response roles, with strong experience in SOAR platforms and security automation frameworks
- Deep understanding of modern security operations, attacker methodologies, and enterprise security architectures
- Hands-on coding experience with Python or similar languages
- Experience collaborating directly with customers
- Strong understanding of security concepts across endpoint, identity, cloud, and networking
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
