About the role
Millions of eligible people are at risk of losing their Medicaid and SNAP coverage, not because they no longer qualify, but because work requirements and redetermination are introducing new barriers to accessing these critical services. Acumen America is seeking a Senior Associate to help drive our health portfolio and lead execution of the Medicaid Innovation Collaborative (MIC) – an initiative helping states, health plans and providers bring game-changing, tech-enabled solutions to the people who need them most. We’re seeking someone with 3-5 years of experience in consulting, health care, or related fields and a commitment to tackling poverty.The right candidate is a bold, creative, passionate, and organized individual who can excel in a fast-paced, startup environment. This is a time-limited, 18-month position, based in San Francisco, at 30 hours per week. The team operates in a hybrid work schedule and works from the office two days a week (subject to change).
