About the role
We're hiring a Product Manager to own the roadmap for the Observability and Compute/Network teams within Addepar's Foundation Engineering organization. This is a foundational infrastructure role: you'll define and drive the roadmap for how engineers understand the health of their systems (metrics, logs, tracing, alerting, on-call tooling, SLOs) and for the compute and networking substrate their services run on (provisioning, container orchestration, networking, security posture, capacity planning, and cost). What they're looking for
- Prior product management experience, ideally owning infrastructure-facing products (observability, SRE tooling, cloud compute, or networking platforms)
- Demonstrated ability to define a product roadmap and deliver infrastructure capabilities, translating ambiguous reliability and capacity problems into scoped, prioritized work
- Track record of managing product development for infrastructure or platform capabilities with multiple engineering stakeholders and competing priorities
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills — able to align engineering leads, platform leadership, and product engineering teams around a shared roadmap
- Ability to prioritize investments based on reliability, security, and cost. (e.g., MTTD/MTTR, SLO attainment, vulnerability remediation SLAs, infrastructure cost efficiency)
- Familiarity with SRE practices: SLOs, error budgets, incident management, and on-call process design
