About the role
This is an immediate opening for "The Chief Compliance Officer (CCO)" in a full-time role responsible for continuing overseeing Advaita Capital’s compliance program. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring regulatory developments affecting venture capital and investment activities, maintaining and updating compliance policies and procedures, and conducting periodic risk assessments and internal audits.
What they're looking for
- Candidates should possess strong Compliance Management and Regulatory Compliance skills, with experience building and leading compliance programs in prestigious VC RIA funds or investment management growth equity funds
- Must have entrepreneurial mindset and can work independently without daily supervision. Must have strong integrity and market reputation
- Must have experience in venture capital growth RIA compliance and investments
- Candidates should possess robust Analytical Skills and Finance knowledge to assess regulatory risk, interpret complex rules, and support investment and fund operations decision-making
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including the ability to explain regulatory requirements clearly to diverse stakeholders and to prepare concise, accurate documentation
- Need strong legal background and flexibility to work as in-house counsel with the help of outside counsel will be preferred
