About the role
As a Staff Product Manager, Agentic Payments, based in our San Francisco office, you will lead the core strategic bets driving Airwallex's future processing engine. You will work across several key initiatives, such as our one-click-checkout tool Airi) and build out our Stablecoin Acceptance and Agentic Commerce products In this role, you won't just optimize authorization rates—you will design how AI agents buy, sell, and settle globally, seamlessly bridging fiat card networks with instant stablecoin liquidity.
What they're looking for
- 8+ years of professional experience in Product Management, with significant exposure to high-growth, fast-paced fintech or tech environments
- Proven track record building and scaling core payment infrastructure, acquiring products, card scheme integrations, or blockchain/stablecoin payment systems
- Strong technical background with a Bachelor's degree or higher (preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field)
- Deep Domain Expertise: Hands-on experience with payment authorization flows, ISO 8583/20022 messaging, card scheme rules, or blockchain-based token standards (ERC-20, Solana SPL) and stablecoin architecture
- Technical Mastery: Exceptional capability to engage in deep architectural discussions with principal engineers, review API contracts, and evaluate transaction protocols
- First-Principles Thinking: Ability to decompose highly complex, unstructured problems (like autonomous machine payments) into clear, execution-focused product roadmaps
